Remarks

  • 5 mothers in Sentul are currently undergoing the M.A.D Programme (Mengecapi Aspirasi Diri - Empowerment Programme) that is being held by the Sisters in Action (SISTAS) Network - Through this programme, the mothers are being taught cooking, baking and sewing to enable them to set up their own business later.

  • 1 recipient's daughter in Sentul has won a scholarship from Baitulmal to study at the Ain Shams University in Egypt, after obtaining 10 As in her SPM examination.

  • One recipient initially selected into the programme has opted out; she is now in a better financial situation and wants MyKasih to offer this her place to a more deserving person/family.
