MyKasih Launch in Inanam (October 2010)
DIALOG was in Inanam, Kota Kinabalu Sabah to launch its fourth MyKasih programme. As part of its CSR programme, the Group contributed RM52,000 to the MyKasih Foundation to support the purchases of essential food items by 50 families in the neighbourhood for the next one year.
Apart from the food aid, selected recipient families will also undergo a rehabilitation programme designed by MyKasih Foundation with the support of MyKasih programme partners such as The National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN), Agency for Counselling and Financial Management (AKPK), Community-Based Rehabilitation (PDK) as well as local NGOs. The modules include financial literacy and tuition classes for parents and children respectively and health awareness programme.
DIALOG is already supporting 75 families in Selayang, 50 in Jinjang and 50 more in Kampung Sungai Kayu Ara in Petaling Jaya. The Group is committed to reaching out and helping more poor and needy families in communities where they have a business presence.
