Smart Belanja Programme (June 19, 2010)
The National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN) Wilayah Persekutuan and Agency for Counselling & Financial Management (AKPK) held a 'Smart Belanja' workshop that was attended by MyKasih recipient families in Jinjang on 19th June 2010 at Dewan Besar LPPKN. Some of the topics discussed were;
- How to plan their monthly expenditure
- To identify good and bad investments
- Planning for family expenses and
- To understand between needs and wants when making purchases
With the assistance and guidance from the facilitators from LPPKN, the families were then taught to identify, plan and budget their spending habits both wisely and more effectively.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our training partner, LPPKN Wilayah Persekutuan together with AKPK for the successful completion of this programme. We certainly look forward to working with them again in the near future.
