Skills Training (June - August, 2010)
NAWEM conducted a skills training course for mothers from the Selayang Community during June-August2010. The course covered Baking (by SuChan), Traditional Malay Cooking (by Laris Worldwide), and basic Floral Design (by Pretty Petals). A total of 23 mothers took part in these sessions.
Skills training is offered by the MyKasih Foundation in conjunction with NAWEM as part of the foundation's efforts to empower mothers and help them achieve financial independence. It aims to provide mothers with skills and allow them to operate small enterprises of their own.
