MyKasih 'Love My School' programme launch for the Bateq Orang Asli students
Travelling to school daily by boat, the semi-nomadic Bateq Orang Asli are participants of an initiative called 'Chup Badui Sikulah', which means ‘let's go to school’ in Bateq language. The initiative aims to encourage the Bateq Orang Asli children to attend school.So far, MyKasih 'Love My School' programme has succeeded to enrol 43 Bateq children into SK Kuala Tahan. As beneficiaries of the programme, they will receive a monthly allowance of RM60 each via their smartcard to spend on daily meals and learning necessities in school. Additionally, 29 Semaq Beri Orang Asli students studying in the same school will also receive the bursary.The Deputy Director-General of Education Malaysia, Shaari bin Osman, was present to launch the ‘Chup Badui Sikulah’ initiative and the ‘Love My School’ programme that day of 28 January 2019.

JTI Malaysia A musical tribute to Sudirman in aid of MyKasih
4 November 2016: "One Thousand Million Smiles", A Musical Tribute to Sudirman. Sudirman Hj. Arshad, known as the People's Singer and the best entertainer in the country as most Malaysians would concur, was remembered with the staging of "One Thousand Million Smiles: A Musical Tribute to Sudirman", on 4 November 2016 at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre, klpac. Presented by JT International Berhad (JTI Malaysia), the premiere night of the charity gala musical was held in aid of MyKasih Foundation. Close to RM 20,000 was raised through cash donations and ticket sales. Local talents Aaron Teoh, Amir Hazril Harith, Dasha Logan, Joel Wong and Tria Aziz, performed an exciting repertoire of the late Sudirman's hit songs including "One Thousand Million Smiles", one of the numbers that won him Asia's No. 1 Performer, at the Asian Popular Music Awards held at the Royal Albert Hall, London in 1989. Sponsored by well-wishers and die-hard Sudirman fans, forty underprivileged youths from Yayasan Chow Kit had the opportunity to experience the toe-tapping show and were singing along to the classic "Chow Kit Road", which resonated strongly with them. MyKasih Foundation Chairman and Co-Founder Tan Sri Dr Ngau Boon Keat thanked JTI Malaysia for hosting the gala night and for being such a supportive donor partner to MyKasih Foundation. klpac's unique partnership with JTI Malaysia has enabled them to stage acclaimed productions such as 'Symphonic Swing', 'Rashomon' and 'A Streetcar Named Desire', also in aid of MyKasih Foundation.

Mubadala Petroleum sponsors additional programmes for Miri folks
Graduates of the Mengecapi Aspirasi Diri (MAD) empowerment and entrepreneurship programme sponsored by Mubadala Petroleum (MP) were given the opportunity to participate in additional training programmes conducted by Kolej Komuniti Miri, to enhance their skills and further develop their businesses for better income generation. The graduates participated in three skills training programmes in the month of September at Kolej Komuniti Miri, MyKasih’s training partner in Miri, Sarawak. Aimed at equipping participants with valuable knowledge to further enhance their existing skills, the participants of the programme are now able to provide additional services to earn income in their chosen businesses. On 3 September 2016, 25 ladies took part in a Breadm Bun and Mini Pizza class whereas on 17 September 2016, 32 participants took part in a Cupcake and Tart Class. The men participated in a Cement Ferro Clas on 17-18 September 2016. All classes were conducted at our training partner's location in Kolej Komuniti Miri, Sarawak.
