Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Lanjan (Asli) Damansara Perdana held their 35th Annual Sports Carnival yesterday (Sunday 7 October 2018) at the Desa Temuan community field adjacent to the school. The school, which is adopted by Dialog Group Berhad under the MyKasih ‘Love My School’ student bursary programme, saw 55 DIALOG staff volunteers assisting school teachers to ensure the smooth-running of the sports event. Over 180 students, from pre-schoolers to Primary Year 6, represented the 4 Sport Houses (namely Temenggung, Laksamana, Shahbandar and Bendahara) and participated in various track races and games. This is the fifth consecutive year DIALOG has been sponsoring the school since 2014. The school’s ‘Lanjan Tigers’ under-12 Orang Asli rugby team is also well-supported by DIALOG , through sponsorship of their participation at district and national level tournaments. The half-day sports event concluded with a prize presentation ceremony. Temenggung House emerged as the overall champion and claimed the Tan Sri Dr Ngau Boon Keat Championship Trophy. The Bendahara House claimed the Puan Sri Jean Ngau Trophy for the most creative and well-coordinated march past. The prizes were presented by MyKasih Foundation Deputy Chairman, Jeffrey Perera, and Managing Director, Evelyn Ho, who led the delegation of volunteers.
