Dialog Group Berhad supported its adopted school in Damansara Perdana, Selangor with a seed grant of RM 10,000 to help the school build its edible garden of vegetables, herbs and fruits. The 'OA Greens' edible garden project, which is being spearheaded and jointly funded by the Rotary Club of Lake Gardens Kuala Lumpur, was kicked off on 9 August 2016 in conjunction with the International Day for the World's Indigenous Peoples 2016, aptly themed 'Indigenous Peoples and Education'. DIALOG has been rendering assistance to Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Lanjan's majority indigenous students since January 2014 via the MyKasih 'Love My School' bursary programme. To-date, DIALOG has channeled close to RM 200,000 to ensure that the students' nutritional and education needs are met. The primary students were engaged through workshops conducted by Ecocentric Transitions, to introduce them to gardening and to envision what the garden will look like.
