MyKasih Foundation has recently been attacked by irresponsible individuals and organisations. Since 2009, MyKasih Foundation has been working with ngos, local community leaders and volunteers to help low income households throughout Malaysia. MyKasih provides food aid and student bursary programmes. The uniqueness of the MyKasih programme lies in the technology we use. Under MyKasih, aid is distributed via a cashless system using the MyKad. Recipient families are given RM 80 per month for a year to purchase basic food items at participating retailers. All purchases are paid for using their MyKad, which operates as a payment debit card. An alternative contactless payment smart card is also issued to the recipient as a fallback in the event his/her MyKad is damaged. Using this cashless system MyKasih ensures that welfare aid is targeted to the right recipients in a secure and transparent way. By using the MyKad, MyKasih also ensures that welfare aid is used for the intended purpose.
Today, MyKasih Foundation reaches out to 100,000 families, touching close to 500,000 household members in Malaysia. MyKasih extends aid to UNDERPRIVILEGED MALAYSIANS regardless of RACE, RELIGION or POLITICAL AFFILIATION. MyKasih condemns individuals or organisations who not only, do not help the underprivileged but discourage others who do so. MyKasih will not be deterred in its efforts to help the under-privileged AND will remain true and steadfast to its mission of BREAKING THE POVERTY CYCLE.
MyKasih reserves the right to take legal action against those who make false allegations against us.
