Welcome to MyKasih Foundation

In 2009, Tan Sri Dr. Ngau Boon Keat and his wife, Puan Sri Jean Ngau, founded MyKasih Foundation - a non-profit with a mission to help families and students in need.

Our two flagship initiatives- the ‘Love My Neighbourhood’ food aid and the ‘Love My School’ student bursary programme both use a proprietary technology to channel aid to targeted beneficiaries in a cashless manner. All disbursements are effected through the use of the Mykad (Malaysian identify card) or the MyKasih-issued smartcard. This enables us to distribute aid in an efficient, transparent and secure way, without any leakages.

Over the years, the federal and state governments, zakat agencies, as well as the private sector have leveraged on the MyKasih system for their welfare initiatives. More recently, MyKasih was appointed by the Federal Government to deliver Program Sumbangan Asas Rahmah to 5.4 million recipients.

Additionally, we collaborate with other bodies to deliver community interventions such as health screening and vision checks, provide livelihood opportunities, as well as educational support through schools.
