A big thank you to Mr. Yong Pang Chaun and family for their heartfelt contribution, all 134 Temuan Orang Asli students from SK Sungai Dua who come from 12 surrounding Orang Asli villages in Bentong, celebrated the launch of MyKasih's 'Love My School' student bursary program and their 21st-century computer lab. Each student will be getting RM60 a month to spend on daily meals and learning necessities which they can purchase in school using their MyKasih smartcard. PADINI Society's members, along with their representative, Madam Yong also participated in the event to spend time with the students and teachers, learning how to further support the school. Wishing the students of SK Sungai Dua good motivation to excel in studies!

JTI Malaysia A musical tribute to Sudirman in aid of MyKasih
4 November 2016: "One Thousand Million Smiles", A Musical Tribute to Sudirman. Sudirman Hj. Arshad, known as the People's Singer and the best entertainer in the country as most Malaysians would concur, was remembered with the staging of "One Thousand Million Smiles: A Musical Tribute to Sudirman", on 4 November 2016 at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre, klpac. Presented by JT International Berhad (JTI Malaysia), the premiere night of the charity gala musical was held in aid of MyKasih Foundation. Close to RM 20,000 was raised through cash donations and ticket sales. Local talents Aaron Teoh, Amir Hazril Harith, Dasha Logan, Joel Wong and Tria Aziz, performed an exciting repertoire of the late Sudirman's hit songs including "One Thousand Million Smiles", one of the numbers that won him Asia's No. 1 Performer, at the Asian Popular Music Awards held at the Royal Albert Hall, London in 1989. Sponsored by well-wishers and die-hard Sudirman fans, forty underprivileged youths from Yayasan Chow Kit had the opportunity to experience the toe-tapping show and were singing along to the classic "Chow Kit Road", which resonated strongly with them. MyKasih Foundation Chairman and Co-Founder Tan Sri Dr Ngau Boon Keat thanked JTI Malaysia for hosting the gala night and for being such a supportive donor partner to MyKasih Foundation. klpac's unique partnership with JTI Malaysia has enabled them to stage acclaimed productions such as 'Symphonic Swing', 'Rashomon' and 'A Streetcar Named Desire', also in aid of MyKasih Foundation.
