Tan Sri Dr. Ngau Boon Keat

TAN SRI DR NGAU BOON KEAT is the Chairman, Co-Founder and Trustee of MyKasih Foundation. He co-founded Dialog Group Berhad (DIALOG) in 1984 and is a major shareholder and Executive Chairman of DIALOG. He is also a board member of Kertih Terminals Sdn Bhd, Centralised Terminals Sdn Bhd, Pengerang Independent Terminals Sdn Bhd and BC Petroleum Sdn Bhd.

In addition, he is a Director of the ePetrol Group of Companies and WGC 2012, the company incorporated to organise and stage the 25thWorld Gas Conference in June 2012.

He holds a Bachelor Degree (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.  He is a member of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia and the Institution of Engineers, Singapore. He is also a Registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia.

He began his career in 1972 as a Refinery Engineer with Mobil Singapore Pte Ltd. He worked at Petronas Malaysia from 1975 to 1980 where he held various positions from Production Engineer to Engineering Manager. He has more than 39 years of working experience in both upstream and downstream of the oil, gas and petrochemical industry.



Tan Sri Dato' Seri Megat Najmuddin Bin Dato' Seri Dr Hj Megat Khas

TAN SRI DATO’ SERI MEGAT NAJMUDDIN BIN DATO’ SERI DR HJ MEGAT KHAS was appointed as a Trustee of MyKasih Foundation in September 2009. He currently sits as the Non-Executive Chairman of 4 public listed companies, i.e.  Asian Pac Holdings Berhad, Formis Resources Berhad, MajuPerak Holdings Berhad and SEG International Berhad.

He holds an Honours Degree in Law from University of Singapore. He is prominent in the corporate sector and holds several important posts. He is the President of both the Federation of Public Listed Companies Berhad (“FPLC”) and the Malaysian Institute of Corporate Governance (“MICG”).

He was a member of the High Level Finance Committee of the Ministry of Finance and Capital Market Advisory Council of the Securities Commission (“CMAC”). He was a member of the 2nd National Economic Consultative Council (“NECC2”) and the Central Bank’s Corporate Debt Restructuring Committee (“CDRC”). He sat on Bursa Malaysia’s (previously known as KLSE) Listing Committee for 10 years. He is a Non-Executive Independent Director of PETRONAS and chairs the Board’s Risk and Governance Committee. He sits on UMNO Malaysia’s Disciplinary Committee. He is also active in the Institute of Integrity Malaysia (“IIM”), Transparency International Malaysia (TIM), and an Adjunct Professor at Faculty of Law, UUM. He is currently sits as a member of Bank Negara Malaysia’s Financial Directors’ Education Steering Committee and Advisory Board of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).



Tan Sri Datuk Dr Rebeca Fatima Sta Maria

TAN SRI DATUK DR REBECCA FATIMA STA MARIA was appointed a Trustee of MyKasih Foundation on 22 January 2010.

She began her career in the Malaysian Administrative and Diplomatic Service in 1981 and served in various capacities in the then Ministry of Trade and Industry. In the course of her civil service career, she had a brief stint as the Chief Administration and Procurement Officer of the ASEAN Plant Quarantine and Training Centre, and contributed to human capital development at the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN).

She retired as the Secretary-General of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry on 2 July 2016. As MITI Sec-Gen, a post she was appointed to on in December 2010, she provided oversight for the formulation and implementation of Malaysia’s international trade policies and positions. This involved Malaysia’s participation in bilateral, regional (ASEAN, APEC, OIC) and multilateral fora (World Trade Organisation), as well as bilateral and regional trade negotiations.

In the academic field, she was awarded the Malcolm Knowles Award for the best PhD dissertation in April 2000 in the field of Human Resource Development by the American Academy of Human Resource Development. She was also awarded “Professional Achievement Awards by School of Education, University of Georgia (2013). She has a Masters degree in Counselling from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a Bachelors degree (Hons.) in English Literature from the University of Malaya.

She serves as Council Member of the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS).



Datuk Yaacob Bin Md Amin

DATUK YAACOB served the Polis DiRaja Malaysia for more than 33 years in various capacities. He was the Director of Criminal Investigation Department with the rank of Director of Commissioner of police prior to his retirement. He was an Independent and Non-Executive director of Khee San Berhad from 2002 – 2007 and also an Executive director of Furqan Business Organisation Berhad previously.

Datuk Yaacob was a member of the Advisory Council of MyKasih Foundation since the setting up of MyKasih in 2009. He was later appointed on the Board of Trustees of MyKasih Foundation on 30th August 2012. He is actively involved in the launching of the MyKasih programmes in Malaysia.


Ho Kay Tat

DATUK HO KAY TAT was appointed as a Trustee of MyKasih Foundation on 30th September 2009. He is the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of The Star Publication (M) Berhad.

He holds a Bachelor Degree in Social Science (Hons.) majoring in Political Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia.

He was appointed Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of The Edge and The Edge Financial Daily from 2005 to October 1, 2009. He has been in journalism for 26 years. He spent 6 years with the New Straits Times group, Malaysia’s biggest newspaper company. He joined The Edge, a business and investment weekly in Malaysia, as Editor in August, 1996. He also assumed the role of Editor for Asia Inc, a regional business publication from 2003 until May 2005.



Puan Siti Khairon Binti Shariff

PUAN SITI KHAIRON retired from Employees Provident Fund (“EPF”) as the General Manager, Fund Investment Department, after having served EPF for 12 years until 2008. She also was a lecturer at Universiti Putra Malaysia for 16 years prior to joining the EPF. She was a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Dialog Group Berhad from year 2005 to 2010.

Puan Siti Khairon holds a Masters (Economics) Degree from University of Philippines and Bachelor in Economics (Hons.) Degree from University Malaya.

Puan Siti Khairon was a member of the Advisory Council of MyKasih Foundation since the setting up of MyKasih in 2009. She was later appointed on the Board of Trustees of MyKasih Foundation on 30th August 2012. She is actively involved in the launching of the MyKasih programmes in Malaysia. She also facilitates the training programmes at the Foundation through her network with Universities, Government Agencies and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs).



DATIN NAZRIN ANEEZA served as an Advisory Council Member of MyKasih Foundation since its inception in 2009 and was recently appointed on the Board of Trustees in 2018. She is currently serves as the Vice President of PETRONITA, an association for wives and female employees of PETRONAS which conducts numerous educational and charitable community development programmes for the poor. Her vast experience in strategizing, planning and executing community-based programmes to empower vulnerable communities and transition them towards better socio-economic standing compliments the efforts of MyKasih Foundation.
